Data and Design Core

Description

Data and Design Core is an open-source collection of R, Stata, and workflow resources for secondary-data mental health research. It includes mental health ICD code references, study-organization templates, and reproducible examples for data cleaning, statistical analysis, and visualization. Resources utilize datasets such as the Health and Retirement Study and Michigan Medicine DataDirect and are intended for investigators, analysts, and research staff who want to start analyses faster or adapt proven workflows to new studies.

About the Team

The Data & Design Core provides scientists with individualized guidance on study design and methods, measurement approaches, existing data sources, and analytic support. Specifically, we aim to accelerate the research process by connecting investigators to valuable existing datasets so that researchers can draw meaningful conclusions more quickly and efficiently. Our goal is to equip researchers with the tools needed to make meaningful advancements in the field of depression research.
